The
Polo Fields Foundation of Michigan will be
hosting its 13th Annual Fundraising Auction in
Monday, August 3, 2009. This
event features an entire day of
events: a day of golf, a lot of
fun, a
strolling dinner, silent
auction, fabulous LIVE auction, and dancing that
promises to be a great time for
all involved!
For the 2008 calendar year, The Polo Fields
Foundation of Michigan is pleased to announce a
contribution of $50,000 for the
combined charities of University
of Michigan C. S. Mott Children's Hospital
and Women's Hospital and The University of Michigan's
Comprehensive Cancer Center. This brings
the contribution of The Polo
Fields Foundation of Michigan to $372,000 since
1999. We are excited to increase
this amount in 2009.
REGARDING OUR COMBINED
CHARITIES:
University of Michigan C. S. Mott Children's Hospital strives to
deliver preeminent care to each individual child while at the
same time advancing the health
of children everywhere. Mott's patients
benefit from the attention of
some of the finest residents and medical
students in the country. Mott's
residents and students benefit from an environment
that maximizes the utilization
of "classical" pediatric knowledge while
constantly incorporating new
evidence based medicine techniques and
research discoveries
The
University of Michigan's
Comprehensive Cancer Center is a
nationally recognized cancer center with
nearly 300 cancer clinicians and
researchers. These cancer experts work
together in clinical programs
which bring new prevention, detection, and
treatment discoveries to more
than 25 specialty cancer care clinics. The UMCC
has experts in virtually every
type of cancer, from the most common to the
rarest forms. In addition to the
cancer care clinics, they offer a full
array of services and treatment
areas enabling them to meet all of the
patients' medical needs.
The Polo Fields
of Michigan Foundation is a 501c
(3) organization which makes your donation tax
